Architectural Review Board

Members of the ARB are appointed by the Board to oversee the community covenants, design guidelines and standards.  The ARB also reviews applications for modifications to ensure compliance.  To view the Covenants, Design guidelines or to obtain an application for modifications, click on the above link.

The ARB is a separate board from the Executive Board.  Their purpose is to keep and maintain the standards and vision that was set when Rivermoore Park was established.  Members are appointed by the Executive Board.

The ARB works closely with CMA (Community Management Associates), our management company and the author of any non-compliance letters that a resident may receive.  CMA, the ARB and the Executive Board, again, all separate, but all are united in our desire to maintain & improve the appearance of our neighborhood & the value of our properties.
If you have a question about the covenants, the guidelines or a letter you have received, please contact Jodi Philips, CMA.  If she isn't available, leave a message or email her (contact info above).  You may kindly contact a member of the ARB, understanding that they are volunteers, residents and/or neighbors.  As a last resort, you may appeal any decision made by the ARB to the Executive Board who will hear your situation and make a ruling based on the information and facts that are presented.

The ARB meets on or about the third Thursday of each month unless that day falls on a holiday.  This date is subject to change, without notice.  Please contact an ARB member if you need the specific day the ARB is meeting...

Overview of Application process.

Our covenants give the ARB 30 days in which to respond to an Application for Modification.  The ARB has adopted a new procedure in which the ARB will meet the third Thursday of every month.  All applications will be processed at that time.  The applications should be in the drop box (located at the clubhouse entrance) no later than Wednesday at 5:00 PM on the day before the meeting is scheduled.  Someone on the ARB will be picking up applications periodically from the drop box to see that the applications have all the necessary information for the ARB to process.  You will be requested to put an email address on the application so that if we have any questions, we can contact you before the scheduled meeting date to ensure your application will be processed on the meeting date and not returned to you for further information.

Please remember that your application (along with all supporting documentation) must be received by the day before the meeting date.

Please keep these dates in mind as you prepare to purchase that swing set or basketball goal for your children for birthdays or special holidays!  It's never too early to put in an application.

Any questions regarding the design guidelines for Rivermoore Park may be answered by each homeowner obtaining a copy of the guidelines below.

Thanks for your cooperation.

Newsflash

At the end of last year on direction from the board, we (Rivermoore Park) appealed the tax assessment for the meadow property.

Great news! Gwinnett County responded and agreed to our “appeal” for the assessed value of the meadow. Our tax basis is now reduced by 60%!
